Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
Heart & Stroke leads the fight against heart disease, stroke and related conditions. Together these diseases are still the number one cause of premature death in Canada. Their work is driven by collaboration – with their volunteers and donors, researchers, people who have lived experience, healthcare professionals, governments and others – and guided by this strategy.
HeartLife Foundation is Canada’s first – and only – national patient-led heart failure organization. They are a federal charity aimed at raising public awareness of heart failure, engaging patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support, facilitate access to the latest research, innovations, and treatments, and advocate better care for all.
Hypertension Canada is the only national non-profit organization dedicated solely to the prevention and control of hypertension and its complications. They work with leading minds across medical and health disciplines to advance research and professional and public education, and with policy makers to ensure Canadians can avoid the potentially deadly complications of hypertension.
