Dr. Poulos studied Immunology at the University of Toronto, where she graduated with high distinction. She went on to the University of Ottawa School of Medicine and graduated summa cum laude. She subsequently completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Poulos has trained in Medical Research Fellowships in the United States and Canada, at Stanford University, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
With her interest in research, she has been a principal investigator for multiple clinical trials in dermatology. She has also volunteered her services as a medical physician abroad and proudly serves as a member of several charities. She has taken an active role in leadership and mentorship, having served on numerous committees and boards throughout the years.
Dr. Poulos is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association.
Dr. Poulos co-founded Kingsway Dermatology and Cosmetic Centre in 2006. Her vision was to create a center of excellence in Dermatology with a purpose and mission to achieve the highest quality of care and outcomes for patients.
