Skin Health Institute
The Skin Health Institute is a not-for-profit, registered charity that delivers highly specialized clinical care, education and research for skin diseases, skin cancers and melanoma. They rely on public support as no government funding is received.
The Institute conducts clinical trials and research projects that are published and presented internationally. The Institute makes substantial contributions to the worldwide clinical care and management of skin diseases, skin cancers and melanoma.
The Institute has a fully accredited day procedure centre that now cares for some 30,000 patients each year in their world-class clinical facilities. They also deliver professional education for dermatologists and registrars, specialist training for visiting international medical graduates, workshops to upskill GPs and medical students, as well as public education programs aimed at improving skin health in the community.
