Dr. Stanley Flax, Urologist
An important contributor to urological research, Dr. Stanley Flax serves as Director of the Gale & Graham Wright Prostate Cancer Centre and Staff Urologist at North York General Hospital. He has served the healthcare needs of the Greater Toronto Area and conducted research trials on a number of male and female health conditions from his North York, Ontario practice. Dr. Flax is a board-certified urologist and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Flax has over a decade of experience leading research trials on prostate cancer, bladder cancer, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and many other conditions of the urinary and reproductive systems. He has been interviewed for a number of media features, and is a winner of the First Osler Award for Excellence, an honour given to physicians who provide an exceptional level of patient care.
Added to Dr. Flax’ considerable experience in clinical trials is his record as an expert speaker on men and women’s health. Dr. Flax has built a reputation as a urologist who is concerned for his patients’ wellbeing and driven to contribute to the development of better treatments.
