Low testosterone treatment

There are a number of low testosterone treatment options, and the most popular is hormone replacement therapy (HRT).  The goal of HRT is to increase or boost testosterone levels.  However testosterone supplements currently available to men can produce side effects like enlargement of the breasts (Gynecomastia).  There is, therefore, a continued need for men’s health research.  Clinical trials are particularly valuable to improving low testosterone treatments – they are the best way for urologists to better understand hypogonadism and improve your treatment options.  Many men don’t like to talk about men’s health issues, but low testosterone is nothing to be ashamed of.  Hypogonadism is a legitimate medical issue that affects millions of men.  If you think you may be affected by low testosterone, you may wish to consider joining a clinical trial.  Urologists who study hypogonadism treatments will work with you privately and discreetly to explore your treatment options.
