Severe Plaque Psoriasis Study for Youth

Youth 6 to less than 18 years of age who have had plaque psoriasis for at least 3 months, may qualify to receive study medication. Participants must have severe plaque psoriasis at the time of study entry.

Individuals will be randomly assigned to one of the following treatment groups: secukinumab at a high dose, secukinumab at a low dose (smaller amount), etanercept or placebo. Study medication will be administered via injection under the skin.

Participants will be asked to visit the study centre about 40 times over a period of about 5 years.
