Research Trial for Hidradenitis Suppurativa (60 Weeks)

Men and women aged 18-75 years old with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) disease duration of at least 3 months, may qualify to participate. Individuals must have a diagnosis of HS defined as: a total of at least 5 inflammatory lesions present in at least 2 distinct areas of the body. Must agree not to use topical antiseptics on areas affected by HS lesions during the trial.

Participants will receive investigational oral medication (active study drug) or placebo, during the placebo-controlled period. All participants will then receive active study drug during the open-label extension period. Investigational medication and study-related care will be provided at no cost. Reimbursement for study-related expenses will also be provided.

Study participation will last about 60 weeks and involve about 20 visits to the study centre.
