Research Trial for Atopic Dermatitis (30 Weeks)

Adults aged 18 to 75 with atopic dermatitis (AD) present for at least 1 year, may qualify to participate. Individuals must have experienced an inadequate response to AD treatment with a topical regimen of corticosteroids, phosphodiesterase inhibitors or calcineurin inhibitors, or for whom topical treatments are otherwise medically inadvisable. Moderate to severe AD covering 10% or more body surface area is also required.

Participants will receive investigational medication (active study drug) or placebo, via subcutaneous injection. Study medication and study-related care will be provided at no cost.  Reimbursement for study-related expenses will also be provided.Bland emollient use will occur twice a day throughout the study.

Study participation will last about 30 weeks and involve about 15 visits to the study centre.
