Psoriasis Itch Clinical Trial (19 Weeks)

This is a research study to determine the effectiveness of an investigational ointment when administered topically with calcipotriene ointment, in people with itchiness as a result of their psoriasis.

People who have been diagnosed with stable plaque psoriasis for at least 6 months and are aged 18 and older may qualify to receive investigational ointment or placebo in combination with calcipotriene ointment, applied twice daily.  Participants will be reimbursed for travel related expenses.

To be eligible, participants must have psoriasis that covers between 1 and 15% of their body.  This study will be focusing on patches mainly (~85% or more) located on the trunk and/or limbs.  Participants will be asked to visit the study centre about 8 times over a period of about 19 weeks.
