Chronic Heart Failure Study (38 Months)

Men and women with chronic heart failure may qualify to receive oral investigational medication (active drug) or placebo. 

To qualify, participants must:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • have chronic heart failure diagnosed for at least 3 months with reduced Ejection Fraction (HFrEF)
  • NOT have had a heart attack, major heart surgery, stroke or transient ischemic attack in the past 90 days

Length of participation may vary but could last up to 38 months.  Study participants will visit the study centre about 12 times and have about 6 phone visits during this period.
