Adult Eczema Research Study (41 Weeks)

Adults aged 18-75 years old with chronic eczema (atopic dermatitis), may qualify to participate. Individuals must have moderate to severe disease, involving 10% of their body surface area, with an onset of symptoms at least 3 years prior to study start. A documented history (within 6 months) of inadequate response to treatment with topical medications OR documented systemic treatment for atopic dermatitis (within 6 months), OR for whom topical treatments are otherwise medically inadvisable, is also required.

Participants will receive investigational medication (active study drug) or an active comparator medication, along with placebo. One medication will be administered orally and the other medication will be administered via injection. Study medication and study-related care will be provided at no cost. Reimbursement for study-related expenses may be provided.

Study participation will last about 41 weeks and involve about 16 visits to the study centre.
