Acute Coronary Syndrome Study

Now recruiting adults aged 45+ for a study of an investigational medication.

In order to qualify, you must have been hospitalized for acute coronary syndrome, which is defined as having experienced at least one of the following:

  • a heart attack (myocardial infarction)
  • a heart attack (myocardial infarction) after undergoing angioplasty surgery (PCI)
  • decrease in blood flow to the heart (myocardial ischemia)

Participants will be asked to make about 10-14 visits to the study centre over a period of about 3-5 years.

Study medication will be provided at no cost, and there is no cost to participate.  Study participants will be compensated.
