Michael Hartleib, MSc, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Hartleib is a board certified Cardiologist and the President of Kawartha Cardiology Clinical Trials in Peterborough, Ontario. Dr. Hartleib completed his medical training at the University of Toronto and joined the Kawartha Cardiology Clinic to focus on treating angina, myocardial infarction, peripheral vascular disease, strokes, and hypertension as well as fitness, exercise, and cardiac rehabilitation.

Dr. Hartleib belongs to a number of professional societies including the Canadian Cardiovascular Society, the American Cardiovascular Society and the American Society of Echocardiography. As an invited lecturer Dr. Hartleib teaches the medical community about stroke prevention, vascular disease and cardiac monitoring.

Dr. Hartleib and his clinical research staff are dedicated to advancing treatments for heart disease and stroke. They are pleased to offer clinical trials for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease to the Kawartha community.
