Michael R. Robern, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Michael Robern is a physician in Ottawa who has dual specialties in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He completed his medical degree at the University of Toronto.  He did his residency training at the University of Ottawa and did a fellowship in Clinical Research at Duke University in North Carolina.  He has been in private practice since 1994.  Dr. Robern holds memberships with Canadian Dermatology Association, American Academy of Dermatology and European Academy of Dermatology.  He continuously keeps himself up-to-date with the latest medical discoveries by attending national and international conferences as well as regularly reviewing recent research in medical journals.   He has conducted clinical trials in his office since 1999 but has been involved in clinical trial work since the early 90's. With the assistance of his dedicated Clinical Research Staff, Dr. Robern conducts research studies in psoriasis, atopic eczema, wound care and other skin diseases.  He finds being involved in the innovation of dermatologic treatments to be fulfilling for both himself and his patients.
